Problems: | Configuration utility crashes on Windows 7, release version stored saved games and config data in application folder (%programfiles%), off-limits to non-admin users. |
Workarounds: | Install (or re-install if necessary) as an administrator, and install Mass Effect 1.02 patch. Leave User Account Control enabled for non-admins to enable storing config settings and saved games per-user.
Running the launcher and configuration utility as a non-admin will work, storing config information and saved games per-user. |
